Why Choose St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School?
At St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School, we educate the whole person. Our faculty and staff are dedicated to ensuring that each child has the best opportunity to learn and grow in a nurturing and safe environment.
• Our students come from across Northwest Arkansas. While almost 90% of our students are Catholic, SVdP students do come from different denominations and faith backgrounds. Our students attend Mass, have Adoration time, and attend Reconciliation. Priests are regular visitors in the classroom and athletic events. Monsignor David even helps to teach 8th grade Religion. Grounded in Catholic beliefs and tradition, our graduates have the opportunity to explore, learn, and grow daily in their faith journey while working to excel academically and learning to serve others.
• Academic achievement and accomplishment are critical in the global workforce today. Our students routinely score in the top 10% of national tests, are recognized as Duke TIP scholars, and are consistently top performers in area high schools. Our students have an additional competitive edge over their peers – the ability to see challenges as growth opportunities and to learn and improve from failing. The backbone of an SVdP education is growth mindset. Growth mindset is the belief that the brain’s capacity to learn is limitless and that failure is essential to growth. This belief creates a love of learning and cultivates the determination, grit, and resilience that is essential for accomplishment in the classroom and beyond. An SVdP education is the foundation for a lifetime of learning.
